Roz Crews is an artist who uses curatorial strategies to produce public programs, events, and performances. For this exhibition, Crews will recreate the 1964 Mary’s Day event held at Immaculate Heart College, where Corita transitioned a traditional and solemn holy day into a celebration of everyday life, religious observance and feminism. For the Mary’s Day reenactment, Roz Crews will recreate this event with a focus on LGBTQUIA+ rights, awareness and calls for equity.
This poster was created in the style of Mary’s Day 1964.
