Pairing her work with contemporary artists demonstrates the importance and timeliness of Corita\u2019s practice and theory to this generation of artists.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The artists in the exhibition will engage with the community in the creation of art through events, classes, workshops and performances. The works present a range of approaches relating to teaching, close looking, social justice and collaboration. Beaudoin explained, \u201cas an artist and an educator, I kept coming back to Corita\u2019s Kent\u2019s work, especially in challenging times. I knew that other artists had a similar respect and admiration for her work and I saw her influence in the work of other artists.
